Fraser Island Elopement - Kingfisher Bay Resort

We love Fraser Island, it is one of Australia’s most beautiful destinations to get married and many couple choose to elope.

This couple decided to do exactly that, they planned a holiday away and decided they would like to exchange vows on the beautiful white sand of Fraser Island - The WORLDS largest sand island.

This wedding was a suprise, so we had to keep it top secret. a few weeks after their elopement, they had a ‘wedding reception’ and announced to their guests using this video that they were already married. There were so many happy tears and it was an absolutely amazing day.

To elope you just need 2 witnesses. If you book a photographer and a videographer, we are happy to witness your wedding for you too if you would like us to.

There are so many beautiful locations for your wedding photos on Fraser Island too. There are many spots around Kingfisher Bay Resort, or if time allows, you can make the most of it and go for a drive to the infamous Lake McKenzie (You do need a 4wd to drive around the Island - of like this couple did, they jumped in our 4wd with us).

Kingfisher Bay Resort is the main resort on Fraser Island who cater for all weddings from small weekday elopements through to large events and big wedding receptions. The resort is so beautiful that it’s like having a wedding and a honeymoon all at the same time. The resort really look after you and all your wedding guests too by giving great deals for accommodation or island activities.

If you like a bit of adventure, make the most of this amazing island and you can also have your ceremony at the infamous Lake McKenzie, or in a romantic rainforest setting. As wedding photographers and wedding videographers, we love the outdoors and love 4wdriving. We have a 4wd and extensive experience in driving offroad and on beaches, so we always love doing your wedding photos in some different locations that perhaps not everyone can get to.

We also offer special packages if you are eloping. An elopement package is when you and your partner are getting married without guests (Or in some cases perhaps just one or two). If you need a witness, we are always happy to be the one to witness your marriage too and then take you for a drive to some gorgeous locations for some photos.
